Many times in life we are given the chance to do something extraordinary for the betterment of our friends, family, and our neighbors. We are given the talent of singing that motivates someone going through a hard time in their life or the gift of sharing our time to someone in need of a listening ear.

When you look at it, money cannot buy what cherish most in life and that's giving back to the world and making it a better place. So when I heard about how Tracey Walker, top female marketer for Empower Network, was faced with the loss of her mother due to terminal cancer my entire perception of this business changed.

Tracey's mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given only six months to live. This was in the middle of Tracey earning substantial income in Empower Network of more than $30,000/month. Tracey was forced to stop working on her business and tend to her mother for the last moments of Mrs. Walker's life. In those moments, Tracey was at her strongest where she continued to pour into the minds and hearts of hundreds whom dealt with the loss of time, freedom, and even their loved ones. Tracey had the perfect excuse to just throw in the towel after losing her home, her marriage, and her mother. Yet it was her persistence and determination that she would be a vehicle for change for all of those that needed someone to continue the race, that makes her the top leader in Empower Network.

Empower Network is no longer to me what most perceive it to be. It is not a way to just make tons of money and share countless trainings at an amazing rate. Empower Network is a network of individuals whom have been dealt with life and chose freedom when life dealt its worst hand. Empower Network is a base where all of those that have a dream to excel in their business are given the necessary leverage and training so that they can do just that.

But really it is the family and the bond that Empower Network offers that has really given me a new sense of appreciation for the company. It is amazing to see that Tracey has been able to keep building and staying on top after all that she has gone through in life and added her rocking dad to her team!

Tracey is just one example of the many incredible people that have been given countless excuses to be a quitter and not persist but did the exact opposite. So the next time that you feel like you cannot do whatever you need to do to make it, remember that someone was just diagnosed with only six months to live and they are fighting for the seventh. It is only when we feed our minds with the truth of our potential that we break all barriers.

I salute Tracey Walker and the entire Empower Network family. They are amazing people on a mission to help everyone live out what time we have on this Earth to do everything that our hearts desire.

Is this the last of Chris Brown's Music Career?

For the millions that have been with Chris Brown, professional singer and actor, this may be the hardest news to swallow. According to Chris Brown, "“Don’t worry mainstream America,” he wrote, “After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album.” He followed that up with the statement, “Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it!”

So is Chris giving up because of the domestic assault incidents that happened with former girlfriend Rihanna? Well, there is a strong possibility. However, whatever Chris Brown decides to do in the end, he will for sure get lots of coverage and the spotlight on his decision will be broadcasted.

So if Chris Brown leaves the music biz after his next album where does that leave him? Chris Brown has starred in many minor roles but would that suffice? What other industries would he be suitable for? These are the questions that I am asking.

Well, the truth of the matter is that regardless of Chris's decision, the show must still go on and the industry will continue.

If you are done with something, just be done with it and move on. Chris Brown is going to always receive backlash from the incidents of Rihanna regardless of whether he moves out of the industry. I say just accept your wrongdoing and become a better person.

It has been determined that men get all of their intelligence from their mother. This is superbly interesting because men tended to do better in math and science in the past but in the last decade women have really stepped it up all around where wives earned more than their husbands by education from 1998!

Go look it up if you don't believe me. 43.5% of women in the late 90's earned their graduate degrees while their husbands did not and that accounts for a great deal of the higher-paying occupations now going to the women. So if you think that women have nothing on men, guess again!

Now for the scientific proof:

It turns out that the primary genes for intelligence, all eight of them, reside on the X chromosome. Men get one X chromosome from their mothers, while women get two Xs, one from mom and one from dad. So, while women's intelligence is a composite of both parents' "smarts," men get all their intelligence from their mother.- Martha Barletta

Hmm, that makes sense to me!

All of this time I thought that my brother was smarter than me because he got all of my mom's genes while I didn't!! Turns out I was 100% correct. Go figure!

So in essence ladies, there are undeniably more male geniuses out there than women geniuses but that also means that there are more male idiots as well! Watch out!!

2 year contract million dollar contract to a man that may have lost his edge

Now as someone that doesn't typically watch basketball or consider it the best sport in the world, I am not interested in stats of players or any of that. I am interested in the person behind the jersey and my question will always be, "What's their big deal?"

So when I heard about Greg Oden signing with Miami Heat, initially it didn't do anything for me but I wanted to see what was the big deal. Then, I read his story and the answer became apparent.

Greg Oden has not played in the NBA since December 2009 as a result of a terrible knee fracture in the middle of a game. So why does Oden get so much attention now?

Again, as a non-basketball fanatic I didn't know so I dug deeper...

"Greg Oden is the second No. 1 pick on the Heat roster, joining LeBron James, the top overall draft selection in 2003 - and someone who developed quite an affinity for Oden's game when the center was at Ohio State. Oden wound up leaving college after one season, then was taken by Portland at the top of the 2007 draft." -Tim Reynolds

Now even as someone who doesn't watch basketball I know that LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are the All-Stars in their leagues! So to know that Greg Oden is only second to LeBron James says a mouthful!

Ok, now I needed to find out still why? Why is this man so coveted? What does he offer? How much is he worth? I mean the questions are just streaming!

What makes Greg Oden so heavily wanted even after his knee injury and able to sign a million dollar contract with the Heats? Now think about it...

Greg Oden has been gone for four years now. This is his re-entry so you cannot expect to see him on the court for more than 30% of the game yet. He just isn't ready for it.

So I found out!

Greg Oden is what they call a 7-footer! For those of you like me that don't watch basketball, its simple. He is literally 7-foot and apparently they are hard to find! Go figure!!!

But Greg Oden doesn't really have to worry about making all of his shots with the attention that LeBron is getting for his impending free agency or perhaps the fact that you have Wade, Chris Bosh, Ray Allen, Shane Battier and Mario Chalmers still beasting on the court.

Oden has time to get back in the game and he has a pretty sweet deal. Even if he doesn't perform, he will have signed at the veteran's minimum and has plenty of distraction from LeBron James to soften the burns.

Greg Oden states that he is making this decision for himself. He isn't expecting to make a million points or be the all-star.

That's pretty damn awesome! Oden is emulating the same thing that many of us strive for in life:

 

Just do what you love to do, make money, and enjoy it to the fullest.

At 52 President Obama still looks great!

Now for all of you that are breathing and living, you know that we have witnessed the first African American President to come into office and I am blessed to have seen it. But today is not about anything political or about which policy you should be paying attention to for x, y, or z.

Today is about the fact that it is our President's birthday! President Obama has been there for us and has radically changed the way our government operates. He has always shown his love for every race, gender, religion, and creed. So, why not just support him on his special day!

Its not everyday that we consciously think about the leadership that allows us to live in a free country so if you are a proud American and supporter of our President, make sure to leave him a Happy Birthday below!

He probably had to work today and isn't getting to enjoy this day like many of us have the chance to on our special day but I am sure to cares about your undying support.

Raven-Symone, America's sweetheart in the popular 80's Cosby's show shook us all when she played 3-year old Olivia. Since then, Raven has played multiple roles with her Cheetah Girls debut in the 90's and her That's So Raven airing also in the 90's.

After seeing the budding actress grow up into a beautiful woman, we don't usually get to hear much about what has been going on in Raven's life and sometimes forget that she is still around. Yet, just Friday, Raven shook us again with news that she is a lesbian.

Raven-Symone just shared with her Twitter followers that she can get married. The story first surfaced last year when Raven was identified as living with an openly gay America's Next Top Model contestant. Her comment on the situation then was, ""My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."

Yet, now Raven has finally announced to the world in her own words,

I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you."

So the cat's out of the bag! What can you say? Raven is America's sweetheart. She is going to live her life the way that she wants to live it regardless of who likes it or not. I think she is brave in her statement and I know this won't be easy for her but she openly admitted it anyway.

Make sure that you never lose sight of what it is to just be yourself and shine even when you are not what everyone expects you to be. Stay true to you and you will go farther than the eyes can see.

For those of you that know me, you know that this usually wouldn't happen but..

Empower Network- that affiliate marketing company that is not liked by Facebook. (I'm totally serious.) There are hundreds of thousands of affiliate marketers with the company that poorly represent the company.

But what's new??? Let's be honest with ourselves. If you are familiar with the industry you know that everything is called a scam or a pyramid scheme the minute someone doesn't make any money with it. So, if that's the case every single business is a scam and you shouldn't join a single one.

If that is your mindset, then you are in a severe state of negative thinking and that my friend can be detrimental to your health. Reverse your mindset and get ready for the biggest transformation of your life.

For the last six months, I've seen people in Empower doing an awesome job of pissing off my friends, my team, and myself. They would post lots of thin air and attach their links. So, as a new internet marketer, I was annoyed and didn't want anything to do with them.

So, what makes me want to look deeper? Keep reading...

So, after I got the thought that the marketers were a bunch of annoyances-- just being brutally honest-- I started marketing with more entrepreneurs and noticed something.

I noticed that I started making friends and GREAT friends at that with Empower Network members that provided exceptional value and the best darn attitudes I could ask for and then I was shocked at how much of a total amateur I was to judge anyone else's way to freedom.

It was unintentional but that's what I did. So, I own it 100%. I was wrong. But in my looking back at it, I learned something else. I learned that no matter what company I decide to join whether I choose to do Empower Network or Wake Up Now or whatever else, I have a million people that I can share my quality and create an awesome team of supporters.

So if you want to do Empower Network, go for it. If you want to do something else, just do it. It doesn't really matter THAT much.

Now have you ever been in this situation where you are in an opportunity that doesn't allow you to maximize your potential as a marketer and relationship builder?

Well, I am! I am going to be completely 100% honest with you! I am in a truly superb opportunity but I need the correct gateway to generate my funds to build my primary business.
