Don't worry. I'm not going to bash the industry. That's not the intent.

So MLM is the only industry where you have people work tirelessly day and night and not earn a single dollar. So would it be fair to call it a scam? No, I don't think so.

The MLM industry or the multi-level marketing industry really takes the masses of people that are not happy with their current situation of discontent and gives people hope. It makes millions of people wealthier in their mindsets and builds a sense of regard for entrepreneurship. I like those two aspects of the industry.

However....

The MLM industry leaves a superbly sour and distasteful feeling to millions of individuals because there is no real guarantee that you can make money from any action that you have taken. It is the industry where the risk-takers thrive and the safety-blanketed people tend to fail.

Those that tend to do relatively well are well-trained with mentors whom dedicate time and resources. Those that do well don't usually spend thousands of dollars investing in the wrong trainings or spend their time doing the wrong activities on a daily basis.

So it would be fair to say that most people fail because they don't know what to do.

To be completely honest, when I first started in this industry, I was not heavily guided and I did not yield the results that I wanted to from my business. I wanted to blame my upline, their upline, the company, and everyone in between because I wanted results and I wasn't getting any!

So, what did I have to do? Stop playing the blame game and really just push play on my business. What does it mean to push play?

Well think of it this way: I had to position myself to learn everything that I needed to learn in order to have the type of business that I wanted by myself. I did not have time to complain and bellyache over what other people were contributing or not contributing to my success!

I had to push play and make it happen. If I wanted to see results in my business, I had to learn how to market it effectively, talk to people, and the whole nine and a half yards! and that came from research, practice, and more research!

Just yesterday I had an experience that I will never forget. I have invested in a good friend that needed help in getting her business up and running. She is very sweet and so I graciously made myself available to cover her in the case she didn't understand how to do something.

She got setup correctly with all of the bells and whistles in place to take her business off to the races and I never charged her a cent. I don't want to either. This may seem familiar to you or totally foreign. I don't know but this is what happened.

As a result of my graciousness, she decided to grant me a customer for my business with no commission and no strings attached. She could have earned a referrer's free but declined as she reminded me that I never charged her a cent. This was a new thing for me to not charge anyone for something and still somehow get paid for my work anyway.

I encourage you to try this selfless act and test the works of the universe. Sometimes selflessness turns into profit, too.

When I first started developing my brand as an entrepreneur I was completely lost as to what steps I needed to take in order to go from $0 in sales to constant cash flow. There are some things that I have noticed will bring you a constant following on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. These strategies are not for the weak at heart or the fake. These strategies do not require extensive knowledge or time in this industry yet they reap incredible results. I guarantee it. 

The first strategy that I use to bring about a constant influx of people to me is to consistently provide value to those that can benefit from it the most. I do not post information to everyone and anyone because my business is not for everyone. I post information that proves to be meaningful and useful to those within my industry.

The second strategy that I use to bring about my market is to consistently reach out to new people! Reaching out does not mean to present my business opportunity the second I can get a word in! Not even close. Reaching out means to find out about people and learn what is important to them so that you can genuinely help them succeed in their goals and fulfill their dreams. I promise this works. I promise you that if you do this for everyone that is willing to share that space with you, a following is there. 

The third strategy that I use to bring about my following is to invite them to my workshops, groups, and discussions. Inviting them to be a part of whatever it is that I am doing shows that I appreciate their time. When I tell people that I am going to do something for them, I do it. This is the end of story. I hold myself accountable for their failures when I am supposed to be helping them. So, I make it my mission to do what I say I will do because that my word is my net value.

There are some great people in this industry that will never receive the acknowledgment that is humbly deserved. These people are strong in their beliefs and even stronger in their achievements. They are my mountain-movers with the kick-ass attitude that demands respect and I love them.

One of my great friends made a public announcement today about the people she loves and cares about; I was grateful to be included in her announcement. It is very rare that you are told that you are loved and appreciated but that does not mean people do not love and appreciate you. So, I want to make it known that I love and care about my friends new and old and that I want the best for each and every one of you. You are a joy to interact with and your burning desire to succeed will take you far.

I am so blessed and thankful to have met such a great group of individuals! Remember to be the type of person that you hope to find in the world. I am someone that is loving, selfless, and helpful because I want to meet loving, selfless, and helpful individuals! The law of attraction never fails. In this journey, I pushed myself to get past lots of doubt, false thoughts, and obstacles that arose. In doing so, I gained the knowledge and skills to be effective in all of my endeavors. I know what I need to work on to get to the next level and that is the difference.

I am no longer guessing and wondering what to do next. I know what I should be doing and so that is exactly what I am doing. My business is taking off for the better and the obstacles and fears have become less significant by the day. I am on my way to making more money than I have ever made and it feels outstanding.

No more working for lazy, no good bosses that think they are entitled to have my time and effort. No more wondering where my next check comes from. No more lying to myself about why I cannot make this thing work for me. This is the time for me to live in my destiny and earn my stripes as a leader. No hype. No lies. Just the facts.

I started working as a 5LINX representative back in May of 2012 because my aunt and mother pressured me into it. Next thing I know, my mom stops doing it and there is no momentum left. I am paying autoships and I felt like I was paying 5LINX's rent. Sorry, but that is NOT why I started this thing. Not even close...


Fast-forward to November! I was researching ways to get more people to see the 5LINX opportunity and find some solace in what I was doing because to be honest nothing was working. I was making no money and the system that they were preaching was starting to look like a hoax! So, God aligned it that I was moved into my current opportunity.

Get this! The person that referred me to my current opportunity was a former 5LINX as well! Ordained from the heavens. So, I gained new momentum and interest to start building my business and now a new obstacle presented itself. My job cuts my hours due to a slew of nepotism and favoritism within the broken company. I was now ready to take on a business that I could stand behind only to have the financial support snatched from me.

This is the point where I needed to take a moment to re-energize for my sanity.

So, I kept working the dead-beat job until eventually they fired me. To be honest, that was the push that I needed to make this thing count. The day they let me go I was able to take the time I needed for my business and start solidifying my success. Money was tight and it is STILL not the way I would hope for it to be but it is all working itself out. I am not going to play myself or be a liar.

It is because of my less fortunate situation that has pushed me to find FREE and super inexpensive VALID resources for people just like me. People that want to break free from poverty and make this thing work with limited resources! I am always learning and growing so that I can break out of the poverty and into the life that I have always wanted.

Poverty is not always being dead-broke. Sometimes it is being enslaved to a job that you don't want or living in a broken mindset that is not true to what you desire for yourself. I am fighting for my life and if you can relate to this, I want you to know that I will stand and fight with you, too.

As you have probably already come to a decision of what network marketing is about, I wanted to clear the air about the truth of the industry and its potential.

Network marketing is not an industry where everyone is a scam artist seeking out their next victim. There are real people making real money with it everyday. Now, unfortunately there are corrupt jack-in-the-boxes out there waiting to manipulate and steal from you. These are the people that I get very upset because I go straight to their character and they are not mentally tough to handle me. Too bad, right?

If you fall into that category, I advise you to do one of two things: Stop your evil ways and take on a new leaf or go straight to hell and don't turn back. Your business will fail and God will make you pay back everything that you have stolen from those that are investing in you. Why am I being so tough? Because I am an authentic businesswoman and network marketer that is fed up and I know that many can attest to how I feel about this.

If you don't want to be chewed out, I advise you shape up. Quick!

Network marketing was meant to create a path for those that value their freedom. Network marketers are supposed to be people that want to add value to the world and help the beat up, downtrodden, and hopeless. Why What Everyone Says Is Not Important

This is why I don't value their opinion

It has come to my attention that there are many people out there that are highly insecure about themselves. They are so insecure that they are willing to try to pull you down and stop you from fulfilling your destiny. I recommend you do two things when you get into a situation like this.

1. Delete them from your life (just don't touch them or put a hit out)
2. Regain your composure by building yourself back up for the day

The reason why I recommend you delete them from your life is because you don't need the distractions. If someone does not like you and want to be your supporter to hell with them! Frankly, I have better things to do with myself than babysit a whiner or a tire-kicker. No thanks!

Don't allow their stinking thinking to get to you. It is a distraction.

If you continue to allow that person or persons to come at you crazy, you are compromising your character and your success. Let them do them and you keep pushing yourself up further to the top. There are many great relationships that you will build and many relationships not worth building. Make the distinction between the winners and the losers and your life will be less frustrating.

The reason why I recommend you build yourself back up for the day and everyday for that matter is that there is a chance that their negativity has rubbed off on you. Even the slightest bit of their stinking attitude can cause a real disturbance in your attitude and effect your business and choices. You cannot afford to take the crap that you were dealing with to the workplace. It is detrimental to your work environment and creates hostility. Get yourself together and then start again.

Chances are that when you are doing the right thing, the naysayers and critics are there not only as a distraction but also because they are jealous of what you are doing. Jealous people are dangerous people. They are already facing internal issues and have compromised values. You are going somewhere far and you have to remain on point.

In order to be successful, you need to hang around people who will be a fertile ground for a great attitude.

I have a quick exercise for you:

Write down the names of the 5 most negative people you know.

Now, beside those names write down the 10 people that you are around the most.

From this point on, I encourage you to spend time with those that breathe positivity into you because your attitude depends on it.

It is virtually impossible to have a positive mental attitude when you feel bad about yourself. If you feel fat and ugly it shows in the way you speak to others. If you don't have confience in your abilities because you failed before, you stop yourself from trying new things. If you are not confident in yourself because of how you poorly handled difficult times in the past it is time to regain your composure and start again. In order to become a winner and achieve your goals, you must have the type of attitude that will be described as a winning attitude.

The easiest way to correct your stinking thinking is to do the opposite. When you feel good about the way you look, you become confident in your abilities and talents. The feel good comes from practicing discipline. As a result of your discipline, you develop a positive mental attitude.

A great attitude translates into making good decisions, taking chances, and ultimately winning! Did you ever hear someone say that there is no such thing as having more than one winner? Well, they were 100% wrong. In this business, you can have 100 winners at the same time. Winning is defined as doing whatever it takes for you to develop that unconscious sway that comes from solid belief in your own potential.

Everyone is not a winner but there can be more than one in this business!

A Message to All Parents: Read Before It's Too Late

This message is for the strong-minded that care deeply about their futures

This article contains the ultimate secret to balance, connection, and trust. This secret helps you to put life into perspective from the deep brown eyes of your youngest child. This secret can prevent you from living a life of total regret and sorrow so please pay very close attention to the message within the text.

The secret comes from an immeasurably profound, principle called being fully present. To understand this principle it is easier to take a look at what it is not for the most clarity.

Many years ago, when I was a young child I witnessed what it meant to not be fully presnt. At the time, my two brothers and I faced a trying time when our father decided to isolate himself from us. My mother had just had my youngest brother less than three years and was forced to take on full responsibility for the entire family. Suddenly, she became unbearably overwhelmed. So she made a conscious decision to take as many shifts as her job offered and make the best of it.

Over the years, my father lost many irreplacable years of getting to know us. He would come and go throughout the years each time greeted with open arms until we were old enough to understand the disrespect and disloyatly. As a young child, I was more concerned with loving him than worrying about his faults. Today, I have become very distant from my father and we live in the same house! I believe that my father's absence created a space that he only wishes that could be filled. The many nights that he was away from his children have resurfaced as bitter regrets and lost moments. He finally realized how many precious moments of connection were lost with his children by making a choice of not being fully present. It took my father many years to realize that it was time to come home.
